Unsure about God?
Whether you’re a Christian or not you are so welcome to come along to our Sunday meetings. Most students tend to come to our 6.30pm meeting at the New England Site. Here’s more info about what you can expect http://www.cck.org.uk/visit.
Maybe you don’t have a specific question but aren’t sure what Christians believe? Maybe you think it’s all a bit irrelevant or boring? If you want to explore the Christian faith, what it is, and why it matters, our free Alpha course begins on 31st January. It offers a chance to hear what Christians believe and discuss it over a meal each week For more information on Alpha, visit the CCK Alpha page.
For many people, the biggest barrier to Christianity might be an intellectual one. It might be a question you think you can’t answer – or you may think that Christianity can’t answer either! If that’s you, we have some great resources to help you explore some of the questions you have. The Reason blog is our website designed to tackle some of the ‘meatier’ objections to faith people can have. All of the contributors are people who have wrestled with these questions themselves and come out believing that Christianity is the most reasonable position to take. We also have a video series titled “Who is Jesus?” tackling questions about the person of Jesus and the historical accuracy of the New Testament, and we highly recommend Timothy Keller’s The Reason for God.
If you still have questions, objections, or would just rather ‘talk it out’, our Facebook group gives guests and members an opportunity to discuss doubts and issues with the faith.
