Postgraduate Zone

Welcome to Brighton and the CCK Postgraduate Zone! We know it can be hard moving to a new place, or finding time to form friendships – whether you’re coming from halfway round the world or halfway round the M25, postgraduate study can be tough!

The Postgraduate Zone is an area of CCK specifically designed to help support postgraduate students. If you’re a Master’s, MPhil, or PhD student, or you’re towards the end of your medical degree, we’d love to meet you!

Our vision

We exist to make Jesus famous on the campuses of Brighton and Sussex, so that more and more people get to meet him and have their lives transformed by the gospel. Put simply, we are a community on mission. We love spending time with each other, being in each other’s homes and sharing life together, but we believe God has called us to be everyday missionaries on the campuses where we are. Our vision is to see God change lives around us, even as we study. Come join us, and see what God will do!

Zone Leaders

Meetings

Aside from the two CCK Sunday church meetings we meet at various other times. For more information or to sign up for any of the following contact Lydia on postgrad@cck.org.uk or 07737236160

Welcome meals: We’d love to get to know you over a meal, these take place regularly on Sundays after the morning meeting at CCK.

Small Group meetings: We meet in small groups during the week to fellowship, pray together and study the bible and Sunday talk. We put high value on building a church community so that we can support one another well.

Zone meetings and other events: All of the postgraduate small groups meet together from time to time as part of the wider postgraduate community, or to hold special events and trips to local places of interest.
